Swine Flu Vaccination Clinics

Milton Surgery is currently vaccinating high risk patients against Swine Flu

The first group of patients to be vaccinated are those 64 years or younger who usually have the seasonal flu vaccination because they have a chronic illness and Pregnant women. If you are in this group please phone the surgery on 01223 420511 and book an appointment.

Clinic Times:
Monday 7th December 10 am - 12:15 pm
Tuesday 8th December 8:15 - 10:15 am and 4 - 4:45 pm
Wednesday 9th December 4:15 - 5:15 pm
Thursday 10th December 3:30 - 4:15 pm
Friday 11th December 3 - 5:30 pm

The vaccine has a limited life after each multi-dose vial is mixed so we need to vaccinate patients in set clinics to avoid wasting it. Therefore you will need to book an appointment in one of these clinics to obtain your vaccination.

All patients who need to be vaccinated will receive a letter inviting them but If you feel that you are in the above high risk group please contact our receptionist for advice. Other groups such as Children under 5, Households of patients with Immune Suppression and Elderly patients with chronic illnesses will be invited later when the Government advises us to call these groups.

We would be grateful if you would spread this message widely so that patients in the high risk group can phone for an appointment.
